Biography:
Landong Li was born in Hebei Province, PR China in January of 1980. He became a student studying chemistry at Nankai University in 1997. After graduating in 2001, Landong continued to study heterogeneous catalysis under the supervision of Professor Naijia Guan at the Institute of New Catalytic Materials Sciences, Nankai University and he earned his PhD degree in physical chemistry with honor in the summer of 2006. Subsequently, he joined the Research Center for Eco-environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an Assistant Professor, working in the field of Environmental Catalysis. In the July of 2009, he moved back to Nankai University, where he was promoted to Associate Professor. At the end of year 2011, he was awarded the New Century Excellent Talents in University by the Ministry of Education, PR China.

Dr. Li directs comprehensive researches in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, including catalyst preparation and characterization, energy and environmental catalysis, and spectroscopy studies on reaction mechanism. Up to now, Dr. Li has published over 100 papers that have been cited >900 times.
